The engine is equipped with Bosch spark plug wires, twin Weber IDF 40mm carburetors, chrome air cleaners, and a Sebring-style exhaust. Engine work included re-ringing the 86mm pistons, replacing the biral cylinders, installing an SC/912 crankshaft, rebuilding the connecting rods, balancing the rotating assembly, and re-facing the flywheel.
